In partnership with Whiskers N Paws, the campaign aims to garner signatures on the petition calling for an end to live wildlife markets and risky bushmeat consumption globally. Reports have shown that 71% of all emerging infectious diseases in the past several decades have originated from wild animals, with the rest from domestic animals.
Running until March 2021, Hong Kong residents can participate in a series of fun virtual events that include signing a petition to end the wildlife trade, building 3D wildlife origami and purchasing a “Love Animals Love Life Collection Pack”.
