WildAid has a 100/100 score on Charity Navigator

BY CLARA JERONIMO, WILDAID DEVELOPMENT TEAM

We are thrilled to report that WildAid received a perfect 100/100 score from Charity Navigator on December 1, 2016. Charity Navigator is the nation’s largest independent charity evaluator.

This is WildAid’s first perfect score, and our fifth consecutive four-star rating from Charity Navigator. We are very proud to be acknowledged for our efforts.

According to Charity Navigator “Less than one percent of the thousands of charities rated by Charity Navigator have earned perfect scores.” This score reflects, “charities [who] execute their missions in a fiscally responsible way while adhering to good governance and other best practices that minimize the chance of unethical activities. Each has earned perfect scores for its Financial Health and its Accountability & Transparency. Those two scores then translate into a perfect 100-point overall score.”

WildAid scores a four-star rating on Charity Navigator

The WildAid team is committed to continuous improvement of our financial health, fundraising efficiency, accountability and transparency.

“It’s important our donors trust that we’re using their donations wisely to end the illegal wildlife trade and protect wildlife populations,” said WildAid CEO Peter Knights. “Our 100-point score and four-star Charity Navigator rating demonstrates our strong governance and financial accountability to our supporters.”
